1. Commitment to Accessibility

AG World Tools is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continuously improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards, aiming for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

2. Measures Supporting Accessibility

We implement accessibility throughout the design and development of our platform through the following practices:

  • Color Contrast (UX-01): Maintaining text contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large headings and UI components across both light and dark themes.
  • Keyboard Navigation (UX-02): All interactive components, including navigation menus, search boxes, tab bars, modals, and calculator inputs, can be operated using only a keyboard (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, and Escape).
  • Target Sizes & Labels (UX-03): Interactive pointer targets meet or exceed 24 × 24 CSS pixels per WCAG 2.2 SC 2.5.8. All inputs have associated programmatic <label> elements and clear placeholder instructions.
  • Live Dynamic Announcements (UX-04): Calculation results and dynamic updates are announced politely to screen readers using aria-live="polite" attributes. Interactive charts provide accessible data tables or textual descriptions as alternatives.
  • Reduced Motion Support: The site respects users' operating system preferences for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce) by suppressing smooth scroll animations and decorative transitions.
  • Automated Quality Gates (UX-05): Continuous testing using axe-core and Google Lighthouse audits to identify and prevent accessibility regressions before changes are released.

3. Keyboard Shortcuts

To help navigate our toolkit efficiently with a keyboard:

  • / — Focus the global search input on the homepage or header.
  • Tab / Shift+Tab — Move forward and backward between interactive links, buttons, and inputs.
  • Enter / Space — Activate the focused button or select a search result.
  • Esc — Close open search dropdowns, mobile menus, or modal dialogs, returning focus to the triggering element.

4. Known Limitations & Ongoing Improvements

While we strive to adhere to accepted guidelines, some areas may have technical limitations:

  • Client-side Canvas Previews: Tools that render client-side canvases (such as PDF split/reorder previews or image crops) provide tabular summaries or numerical dimension outputs for screen readers, but direct canvas pixels cannot be spoken by assistive tech.
  • Third-party Font Glyphs: Certain regional language scripts may require local system font support for optimal rendering on older operating systems.
